Bad color representation
"I debated over buying Porto Please (812), but was pretty sure from the pictures that the color would be a deep pearlized purple plum. Nope! It comes out as a bright cherry red! And the worst shade in the world for me! Do better with the photos of the color swatches!"

Revlon - My All Time Trusted Favorite
"The best quality lipstick there is! From all the brands I have, YSL, Dior, Chanel, Lancôme, and MAC, only Revlon allows me to wear a bright lipstick of non-matte formula comfortably and with a peace of mind! I trust every formula of lipstick Revlon has to offer to never bleed or feather on my lips. As of now, I have 33 lipsticks of pearl, crème, matte, and shine finish. Revlon’s pearl finish lipsticks are probably my favorite. Talking about pearl finish, discontinuing 407 Rosedew was a huge mistake! 801 Afterglow and 619 Rose & Shine are both very beautiful but definitely not the same. I hope they never discontinue 610 Goldpearl Plum, 460 Blushing Mauve, and 420 Blushed. And with the cream finish lipsticks there is pretty much no need to get any high-end lipstick, in my opinion. I do like lipsticks from all those brands I mentioned above, don’t get me wrong, some because of the scent, the feel, the packaging, but all of them DO BLEED, unless they’re matte! All of them, even MAC! So, in order to avoid that, I have to use a Revlon Colorstay Longwear Lip Liner or Multi-Liner, or Maybelline Lifter Liner, because those are the only lip liners that can hold it in place if the color is really bright. I recently found Revlon’s limited edition Wonder Woman 84 lipstick in shade Amazon. To me, it’s one of the very best! I wish Revlon had more limited editions, maybe seasonal, or thematic… Would be amazing to try something in Jasmine Green Tea theme and scent or maybe something like Desert Rose or Morning Coffee or Hot Vanilla Chocolate. Still very classy but with an element of fun. Something a school girl would have picked up… Anyways, without any new ideas Revlon is still unbeatable, at least based on their thoughtful and careful design (a look-through window on the flat top, color-finish corresponding sticker on the bottom with clear easy-to-read print). That way it’s very comfortable and practical to store them up-side-down for a quick easy find. Thank you, Revlon, for your integrity and legacy of being the true high-end for us, simple mortals!"

Favorite lipstick brand
"I love Revlon crème and pearl lipsticks. My mother wore Love That Red and Fire and Ice back in the 60s so it was a natural thing that this brand is what I began wearing in the 1970s. I love Goldpearl Plum, Blushed, Rose Velvet, …and others. Please, never discontinue these colors!"
